TRANSFORMATION JEWELLERY BY DIMITAR, ARTISAN MASTER JEWELLER
Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
"I can't sell it — but I can't wear it anymore."
"My grandmother left me her ring. I want to honour it."
"It's been sitting in a drawer for years."
"My life has changed. My jewellery hasn't."
"I don't know what's possible. I just know something needs to change."
The Story Does Not End Here
Maybe it was your engagement ring. Your grandmother's pendant.
A piece that once meant everything — but no longer fits the woman you are today.
You are not ready to let it go. You just need it to change.
That is exactly what we do.
We take what meant something, and we help it mean something new.
─
Not a removal of the past.
A continuation of your story.
Personally designed and handcrafted by Dimitar in Brisbane.
What We Transform
The ring from a marriage that ended, or simply changed.
Redesigned into something that belongs entirely to you.
Stones passed down, sitting in a drawer.
Reset into a piece you will actually wear.
Your grandmother's ring. Your mother's bracelet.
Given a new form — and a new place in your life.
THE PROCESS
A Thoughtful Journey. Handcrafted for You.
Every transformation begins the same way — with a conversation.
From that first call to the moment you hold your new piece,
you work directly with Dimitar. One jeweller. Your entire process.
Before any work begins, Dimitar personally examines your original jewellery and gemstones, discussing what can be preserved and how each piece will be approached.
Dimitar creates sketches and concepts built around your existing stones and metals.
You see the possibilities before a single thing is changed.
Your piece is handcrafted in our Brisbane studio.
Carefully. Quietly. With full respect for what it carries.
A piece that belongs to the woman you are today.
Worn proudly. Built to last.

TRANSFORMATION PROCESS
Preserving What Matters. Creating What Comes Next.
Your jewellery carries a story worth preserving.
From carefully removing your original gemstones to creating new piece, every stage is personally undertaken by Dimitar, our founder and artisan master jeweller.
The Maker
Meet Dimitar, Artisan Master Jeweller
Dimis Designs is led by Dimitar, a second-generation master jeweller with over 30 years at the bench.
He grew up around jewellery making, learning from his father the patience, precision, and respect for craft that can only be passed from one pair of hands to another.
His journey later took him through Bulgaria, the UK, and Holland, where years spent working alongside European craftspeople shaped his eye for proportion, detail, and timeless design.
Today, Dimitar brings that experience to his Brisbane studio.
He works directly with each client and personally guides every piece from the first idea to the final finish. There is no separation between the person you speak with, the person who designs your jewellery, and the person who makes it.
His approach is simple: the details you cannot see matter just as much as the ones you can.
Before a ring is polished on the outside, its interior is carefully smoothed and refined. Every edge is considered. Every surface is finished with care. Because true craftsmanship is not only about how a piece looks. It is about how it feels to live with, every day.
Each piece passes through Dimitar’s hands from start to finish.
Made slowly. Made with purpose. Made to become part of someone’s life — and, one day, perhaps someone else’s.

Stories Of Transformation
In Their Words
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can my diamonds and stones be reused?
Yes. In most cases, your existing diamonds and gemstones can be incorporated
into your new design. We assess each stone carefully in the consultation.
Will my original diamonds/gemstones be used in my new jewellery?
Preserving the gemstones that hold meaning for you is central to our approach.
Dimitar will assess your original diamonds and discuss how they can be incorporated into your new design. Any limitations or considerations will be explained before work begins.
We can also discuss how your gemstones will be identified and documented throughout the process.
How will my original gemstones and jewellery be cared for during remodelling?
We understand that your jewellery may carry memories that are irreplaceable.
Before any work begins, Dimitar personally examines your jewellery and gemstones, discusses what can be preserved and explains the proposed transformation.
Every piece is approached individually, with care and respect for its history.
Can the gold be melted down and reused?
In some cases, your original gold may be suitable for reuse. However, this depends on its composition, condition and the requirements of your new design.
Dimitar will assess your jewellery and explain whether reusing the metal is appropriate or whether working with new precious metal would produce a better result.
We will also discuss the available options for any original gold or gemstones not incorporated into your new piece.
Can inherited jewellery be remodelled?
Absolutely. Many of our projects involve family heirlooms, inherited diamonds, and sentimental jewellery.
How long does the process take?
Timeframes vary depending on the project. Most remodel commissions are completed within three to eight weeks after design approval.
How much does a remodel cost?
Every project is different. The investment depends on the design, the materials, and the complexity of the work.
Most transformations begin at $3,500. We discuss investment openly during your consultation — with no obligation.
I'm not sure I'm ready. Can I still reach out?
Of course. Many people contact us before they've made any decision.
The conversation itself often helps clarify what feels right.
